An Asian man bought an Arabic woman Emirates identity card for AED 18.000

Dubai Criminal Court looked into the case of a 28-year-old Asian visitor who has been charged of forging an Emirates ID card, he insisted that it was valid and issued by a friend for AED 18,000. The card data check revealed that it belongs to an Arabic woman.

A witness from Dubai Police stated that he was performing his duty in Satwa area near the bus station. The defendant was looking at the officer suspiciously, and the officer asked him to show his identity. The defendant submitted his Emirates ID card where his photo appear on it but the officer found the ID texture was abnormal, and it’s color was pale.

The defendant was taken to the police station where he was interrogated, and he stated that someone issued it legally to him for AED 18,000 but after checking the ID serial number it revealed that it belongs to an Arabic woman. He was referred to the Public Prosecution, and then to the Criminal Court, which began his trial for the charges of forgery.
