Emirati man died, 7 injured due to car crash

The death of an Emirati man, and minor to moderate injury of seven others who were transferred to Al Mafraq & Al Rahba hospital as a result of car crush over Bani Yas Bridge.

Colonel Mohammed Salem Al Shehhi, Director of External Traffic Department at Abu Dhabi Police Traffic and Patrols Directorate, said that the accident occurred as a result of the collision of the vehicle with another due to the sudden drift, which led to the tumble of the vehicle over the bridge.

Immediately, police and ambulance patrols rushed to the scene, which dealt with the accident and injuries by providing primary medical care and transported them to the hospital for treatment.

Abu Dhabi Police urges motorists to drive safely, be vigilant and leave enough safety distance between vehicles to avoid accidents.
