Gulf man on trial for assaulting two policemen

Dubai public prosecution referred a 30-year-old Gulf man to the criminal court after being charged of physically and verbally assaulting two policemen. The defendant also deliberately destroyed a police car by hitting it with his legs in protest against his arrest for consuming alcohol in a situation not complying with the alcohol laws in the country.
