Worker murders his colleague to avoid returning to homeland

Dubai Criminal Court sentenced an Asian worker to life imprisonment after being charged of strangling his colleague to death at their workplace in an under construction building. A witness stated that the defendant did not want to leave the UAE for fear of returning to his homeland, preferring to go to prison in Dubai.
