Highlights of the Cabinet meeting

UAE Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum chaired a cabinet meeting.

Sheikh Mohammed said via his official account on Twitter: “Today I chaired a cabinet meeting, during which we praised the Riyadh agreement signed between the Yemeni government and the Southern Transitional Council. Saudi Arabia’s efforts made to unify the Yemeni people are highly appreciated and will be continuously supported by the UAE”.

Shaikh Mohammad also added: ” The Cabinet also approved protection and intervention mechanisms for all types of domestic violence, the UAE will have zero-tolerance towards any abuse against children, elderly or women.”

Sheikh Mohammed added: “We also endorsed the executive regulation for voluntary work in the UAE and a decision to restructure Emirates Post’s board of directors as well as a number of international agreements”.
