Cloudy weather, expect rain in next 48 hours in UAE

The UAE weather is going to be partly cloudy in the next 48 hours, with conditions becoming convective and rainy at times, especially in the east and westwards, according to the National Centre of Meteorology (NCM).

The winds are going to be moderate to fresh, and the cloud activity will cause blowing sand.

A weather forecast from NCM said: “An extension of a surface low pressure over most areas of the country … leads to instability of weather condition today especially eastward.

“Some clouds will appear over some eastern and western areas, might be convective especially on Wednesday. Light to moderate winds, freshening at times. Sea will be moderate becoming rough at times in the Arabian Gulf and in Oman Sea.”

The lowest temperature recorded over the country today morning was 9.5°C in Jais Mountain at 12:15amThe maximum temperature during the day is expected to hover around 28 – 32°C.

In Dubai, the temperatures are going to be at a maximum of 29 degrees Celsius and the lowest will be 20 degrees Celsius. In Sharjah, the highest will be at 29 and 17 will be the lowest.

Over in the Capital, the maximum will be 29 degrees Celsius and the lowest will be 18 degrees Celsius.
