An Emirati woman died, sister injured in road accident

A 42-year-old Emirati woman died and her 38-year-old sister was seriously injured in a road accident in the Huwailat about 125 kilometers south of Ras Al Khaimah.

Col Ahmad Al Naqbi, Director of Traffic and Patrols Department, RAK Police stated that the operation room of the RAK Police received a report at 11 am, on Thursday about Deterioration of a vehicle on Huwailat Street.

He added that the competent authorities rushed to the scene. The body of the deceased woman and the injured sister was taken to a hospital while investigations are underway to identify the reasons behind the deadly accident.

Col Ahmad Al Naqbi urged all motorists to strictly observe traffic rules and regulations and mainly speed limit.
