Two Arabs men sentenced to 6 months in prison for stealing AED 1,000

Ajman Criminal Court sentenced (A, R), a 27-year-old Arab man, and a 25-year-old (M, F) to six months in prison followed by deportation and a penalty of AED 1,000 on charges of stealing AED 1,000 and destroying the charity box.

In details, the police was reported about a theft in a mosque in Al Jurf area where the charity box was destroyed and stolen. The complainant, is the supervisor of the mosques, stated in the investigations of the Public Prosecution while he was passing through a mosque in the Al-Jurf area he saw the charity box of the General Authority of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs was broken and an amount of nearly AED 1000 was stolen, as well as a break on the window lock.

The first defendant confessed with the help of the second defendant who admitted that they entered the mosque after breaking the window and stole money for their need of money.
