Weather alert: It will be mostly sunny across the country, and “partly cloudy”

The UAE is set for a mainly sunny Thursday, but there will be some clouds appearing in the south and west of the country by afternoon.

Top temperatures could reach 37°C in Abu Dhabi and 37°C in Dubai on Thursday, the NCM said.

Winds may reach speeds of up to 38kmph inland and in mountainous regions.

In some parts of the country, particularly in coastal regions, humidity levels are expected to hit as high as 90 per cent, the weather bureau said.

Conditions will be slight to moderate in the Arabian Gulf and the Sea of Oman.
