Driver steals diesel from the tanks of trucks

Dubai Public Prosecution referred a 38-years-old Arab driver to the Dubai Criminal Court after being charged with stealing diesel fuel from the tanks of trucks for transporting diesel, which were parked in a yard.

According to the official records, a 45-years-old Asian driver witnessed the theft at about 2:30 am when he was in a truck parking lot near Dubai-Al Ain road, he stopped his truck and saw another truck parking horizontally. He walked to that truck and saw a pipe connected from inside his colleague’s fuel tank to another truck fuel tank parked. The defendant was standing next to that truck and pulling the fuel out using that pipe. The witness called the police to arrest him.
