Rains expected to hit UAE until Tuesday

It will rain in some parts of the country from today until Tuesday, according to the weather forecast by the National Center of Meteorology (NCM).

This prompted the Ministry of Education to allow schools to declare cancellation of classes if the inclement weather will pose a danger, particularly during heavy rains. Students, administrative and teaching staffs can leave early to avoid getting stuck on flooded roads and valleys.

According to the NCM, it will rain in eastern and southern areas of the country today. Moderate southeasterly to northeasterly winds will prevail and will cause blowing dust.
