Ras Al Khaimah Misdemeanors court looked into a case of a Gulf woman after being charged with sharing the surveillance footage of her brother’s wedding ballroom in coordination with an Asian staff who works there without the consent of the related authorities.
The defendant confessed before the court that she had shared the footage to proof that her brother’s ex-wife had attended the ballroom and assaulted her mother and was unaware of any criminal violation, she shared the footage with her brother to assist him to file a case against his ex-wife.
The other defendant was also unaware of the legal violation of sharing such footage.
The advocate affirmed that the footage content did not go viral and called for case dismissal as she had no criminal intentions.
The court ordered an adjournment of the case to next Sunday for issuing its verdict.
