Attempt to smuggle 18 infiltrators hidden in truck

Abu Dhabi police foils bid to smuggle 18 workers hidden in a truck at Khatam border at Al Ain including two women.
Abu Dhabi police received information about an attempt to smuggle infiltrators through the border and cooperated with Abu Dhabi Customs to foil the attempt.
Abu Dhabi police praised the cooperation with strategic partners and stated that such attempts might result in serious danger and increase the crimes like murders, robbery and assault, and that the UAE take strict measures against it.
Abu Dhabi police pointed out that infiltrators attempts to enter the country have a negative impact on the security as the UAE has an advance economy development which make the country a target for infiltrators.
