Ajman Police returned an autistic child to his parents after he was lost from his family’s house in Al Hamediya area.
Brigadier Khalid Mohammed Al Nuaimi, deputy director of Police Operations in Ajman Police, said the command room received a report at 1:30AM about missing boy suffering from autism.
About Six police patrols went on a search operation in the area and within 30 minutes, they found the 7-year-old boy walking in a shopping centre in the area.
Brigadier Al Nuaimi, took the boy to police station and summoned his father to reunited with his son.
Police directed the father to keep the boy safe by taking precautionary measures and locking the doors.
The boy’s family thanked Ajman police for their quick act in finding the boy.
Brig Al Nuaimi, praised the efforts of the force in searching for the boy, stressing that negligence of children can be punishable by law in the UAE.
