2 killed, 31 injured in RAK bus accident

Two Asian workers lost their lives and 31 others were injured after a bus deteriorated on the Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Road in Ras Al Khaimah.

According to Brigadier Mohammed Saeed Al Humaid, director general of the central operations room, RAK Police, the accident happened as a result of poor overtaking.

The central operations room of the RAK Police, received a report about the traffic accident at 12 noon today, immediately dispatched traffic patrols, ambulances, paramedics, and rescue teams to the reported site.

The accident file has been referred to the bodies concerned for legal action as due.
