The Abu Dhabi Court of Appeals started an Arab man’s trial after he was charged with invading the privacy of others by taking photographs of the female complainant and keeping them on his phone, without any connection between them.
When asked by the court about the nature of his relationship with the complainant, the man explained that he works in a contracting company while the complainant works in a decor company, and that they have signed a contract for the implementation of finishing works and decorations in a men’s salon, stressing that he only took pictures of her in an attempt to prove that her presence in the shop was during an unofficial time, and that she forcefully unlocked the door.
The man also stated that she filed a complaint against him for violating her privacy, as a revenge to stop the second case.
