Abu Dhabi: Man accused of stealing AED 350,000, to be sentenced on Tuesday

Abu Dhabi Court of Appeal has set a date for the verdict on a case of an Arab accused of stealing AED 350,000 from a man and his wife.

The details of the case indicate that the victim handed over the accused AED 350,000 to be handed over to his wife, but the defendant did not hand over the amount to the wife and took it for himself.

The accused denied the charge in court, he confirmed that he has known the victim since 2011, stating, “I know very well that he does not have this amount of money, how can he hand it to me to give to his wife.”
