PHOTO: Two Emirati children lose their lives as fire breaks out in Fujairah villa

Two children, aged 3 and 4, died of suffocation in a fire at their parents’ home this afternoon in Madhab district of Fujairah this morning.

Brigadier Ali Obaid Al Tunaiji, Director of the Civil Defense Department, Fujairah, stated that the two children were trapped in the fire that engulfed their house, they were alone with their grandmother who requested help from the neighbors.

The central operations room of the Fujairah police, received a report of the fire at 10.30 AM Monday, firefighters, police patrols, paramedics and rescue teams were immediately dispatched to the site.

The fire case has been referred to the concerned teams to identify the reasons behind it.
