Europa League: Arsenal & Chelsea into semi-finals

English football has four teams in the semi-finals of European football’s elite competition for the first time in 35 years.

Following a successful week on the continental front, Liverpool and Totteham booked their respective places in the final four of the Champions League.

Arsenal and Chelsea followed suit on Europa duty, making the semi-finals.

Alexandre Lacazette’s first-half free-kick earned Arsenal a 1-0 victory at Napoli to ensure they made a relatively comfortable passage to the Europa League’s last four having won the first leg 2-0.
