Fujairah: Husband on trial for beating his wife, making her losing consciousness

The Fujairah Misdemeanors Court has received the case of an Asian husband’s assault on his wife.

Details of the case reveal that a dispute happened between the accused and his wife. The couple argued for a period of time and the discussion developed until the husband physically assaulted the victim and beat her repeatedly, while the victim resisted and tried to prevent him from hitting her.

On the day of the incident, the quarrel escalated between the accused and the victim, and the accused pushed the victim until she hit the wall and got injured in her head, causing her to lose consciousness. The accused took her to the hospital for treatment and the police interrogated her, arrested him and filed a criminal complaint against him.

In front of the misdemeanour judge, the husband admitted his crime and asked his wife to forgive him, the case file was scheduled for sentencing.
