Dubai: Asian worker kills female friend for betraying him

A 30-year-old Asian worker murdered his girlfriend, who he got to know at a Massage Center. The worker had previously asked her to marry him, and she accepted his offer and took AED 5000 that he offered, but later betrayed him and stopped answering his calls. He, therefore, suffocated her with a towel for 10 minutes until she died and robbed her.

Dubai Public Prosecution received the case yesterday after the first hearing at Dubai Criminal Court had charged the man with murder. The woman had allegedly agreed to marry the man, took AED 5000 from him, and exchanged phone numbers with him and continued to contact him for a period of time during which she took AED 2000 more to send to her sick mother.

The defendant was able to find the massage center she works for after a period of time, and went there pretending to need a massage, he entered the massage room where he asked her to talk to him without doing the massage. She refused, which led him to suffocate her with a towel that was in the room.
