Housemaid muzzled infant in UAE

A housemaid went on trial over assaulting a year and a half Emirati infant with assistant from two maids in the house, because she can’t stand the voices of infants, a Sharjah Court of Misdemeanor heard.
According to the court, on February 26, 2016, the defendant was working in the house and assaulted the infant which endangered the baby’s life.
A verdict will be issued on March 17 and the defendant will remain under custody.
