Dubai: Gang gets 2 years sentence after attacking and robbing apartment with 10 women

Dubai Criminal Court on Wednesday convicted four Asian nationals of theft and sentenced them to two years in prison and deportation from the country. The accused formed a gang with other fugitives and attacked an apartment with 10 women inside. They also stole property from the apartment including mobile phones.

A number of victims testified that the four accused, with the participation of other fugitives, attacked the apartment, which consisted of four rooms, broke into all the rooms, pretended to be interrogators, tied the women with plastic restraints, searched their clothing lockers and stole their belongings. They fled after they locked them inside, but the building guard managed to catch one of the accused.
