Cloudy weather, rainfall expected across the UAE

Dubai Police urged all motorists to drive carefully on Tuesday due to the reduced visibility caused by heavy rain. A warning was issued in their official twitter account as the unstable weather was predicted to continue throughout the morning in the UAE.

According to the National Centre of Meteorology (NCM), areas of Abu Dhabi – including Yas road and the Abu Dhabi Corniche – saw light rain this morning. Rain was also recorded in Ajman and Sharjah, while parts of Dubai experienced heavy rain.

Temperatures are expected to dip as low as 6°C in some areas while it was expected to peak at 30°C. Thundershowers have been forecast over Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Ras Al Khaimah and Fujairah. Sea will also be rough in the Arabian Gulf and the Sea of Oman.
