Abu Dhabi: Man gets 7 years sentence for murdering his girlfriend

The Abu Dhabi Court has charged a man with the murder of his girlfriend after she provoked him and “questioned his manhood”. The court sentenced him to 7 years in prison and the sentence was issued by both the Court of First Instance and the Court of Appeal.

The details of the case reveal that the accused deliberately murdered his girlfriend with a sharp knife after he lured her to a room in her apartment and cut her throat with the knife. He continued stabbing her in different parts of her body, causing her tragic death.

The accused also had illegally obtained Cannabis at the time of the murder.
