UAE condemns attacks in Manchester and Philippines

The United Arab Emirates has condemned the stabbing incident which took place on New Year’s Eve at a train station in Manchester, United Kingdom, leaving three people injured. The UAE also denounced the bomb explosion in Cotabato City mall, southern Philippines on Monday, January 1st, which killed two people and injured several others.

In a statement, the UAE affirmed its firm stance against all forms of violence, terrorism and extremism, and called for concerted international efforts to eradicate terrorism, which has no basis in any religion.

The UAE also expressed its condolences to the families of the victims, to the governments and peoples of both the United Kingdom and the Philippines, while wishing the injured a speedy recovery.
