Sharjah: 11 Asians on trial for killing another in a run-over

Sharjah Criminal Court has adjourned the murder case where 11 Asians were accused of killing another Asian to January 9, the case details reveal that the Asian lost his life following a dispute over a liquor sale deal, the victim’s representative offered settlement by accepting blood money.

Details of the case indicate that the dispute sparked between two groups over the right to sell Alcoholic beverages in Al Sajaa area, the two groups started throwing stones at each other, they then started chasing each others with their cars in the same area, as a form of intimidation, which led to one of them getting run over and losing his life after arriving at the hospital.

Medical reports also revealed that the victim was beaten on the head after being hit with the car.
