George H W Bush, the former US president and father of George W Bush, has died aged 94.
He served as the 41st president from 1989 to 1993 and eight years later watched his son become the 43rd president.
Family spokesman Jim McGrath said the one-term American leader died shortly after 10pm on Friday.
