Dubai Ruler pardons 625 inmates ahead of National Day

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, has ordered the release of 625 prisoners on the occasion of the 47th National Day.

The Attorney-General of Dubai Essam Issa Al Humaidan said His Highness’s gesture to pardon inmates aims to offer them a fresh start in life, ease their families’ hardships, and help them reintegrate into the community, Dubai’s Public Prosecution has begun coordinating with Dubai Police to implement the order, Al Humaidan added.
