UAE embassy warns Emirati tourists of e-cigarettes ban in Thailand

UAE Embassy in Thailand has warned Emirati tourists that the Thai authorities have banned using e-cigarettes and anyone who violates the order could face paying a fine, jail or both punishments.

In November 2014, Thailand has approved legislation outlawing the import of e-cigarettes into the country. This has since been expanded to the export as well as sale of e-smoking devices and equipment.
