7 dead, 36 missing after dead sea floods hit school trip in Jordan

A state of emergency was declared in the Jordanian capital after the Jordanian Civil Defense has announced that 7 dead and 36 missing due to floods washed school trip.

Helicopters were dispatched to search for 44 students and teachers who were swept away by floods. Royal Navy diving teams were also assigned to assist in the search operations.
