Abu Dhabi: GCC National forges papers using wife’s name to get Dh900,000 loan

The Abu Dhabi Criminal Court has received the case of a GCC national and his wife, the man was charged with forging a salary certificate to get a loan of 900,000 dirhams from a bank in the country.

During the interrogation, the accused explained that he is responsible for the crime and that his wife had nothing to do with it. He admitted to forging a salary certificate and using his wife’s name without her knowledge. The man obtained the loan and after completing all procedures and approvals, and the bank deposited the full amount of 900 thousand dirhams in his account. The wife denied any charge of participating with her husband to forge the salary certificate.

The case was postponed for a hearing on November 14.
