Ajman: Emirati family’s villa roof falls down, no injuries

An Emirati two year old child was luckily not exposed to any injuries after a concrete part of the family villa’s roof fell apart in Al Hamidiya area of ​​Ajman.

The owner of the house stated that the ceiling of the room fell down, while one of her grandchildren was sleeping in it, but the child was miraculously saved. The owner added that ceiling caused a loud bang, and the entire floor of the house was shaken.

“We live with my family of 15 (my children and my grandchildren), in a house that was built by my deceased husband, in Al Hamidiya, 25 years ago”. She also said that she had applied for government maintenance of the house a while ago, since she can not afford it on her own, but her request had not been considered so far”.

The woman appealed to government entities to look into the matter and provide housing for her family.
