Family tragically loses 8 members in an Abu Dhabi villa fire

Abu Dhabi Police announced that Eight members of a family died and another suffered moderate injury in a villa fire at Bani Yas area in Abu Dhabi.

Brig Mohammed Mayouf Al Ketbi, Director General of Abu Dhabi Civil Defense, called for the necessity of complying with the requirements of prevention and safety and ensuring the maintenance of manual and mobile fire extinguishing equipment, pointing out that investigations are ongoing to determine the circumstances and causes of the fire.

Abu Dhabi Police expressed their deep compassion over the tragic and painful incident, expressing their condolences to their family.

The Abu Dhabi Police Command and Control Center received a report of the fire on Tuesday, civil defense, rescue teams, ambulances and police patrols immediately moved to the fire site and treated it promptly.
