Foreign spy on urgent trial after seeking confidential information about the UAE

Dr. Hamad Saif Al Shamsi, UAE Attorney General ordered the referral of a foreign spy to an urgent trial over charges of communicating with a third party and seeking confidential information about the UAE.

The Public Prosecution has received a report from an Emirati citizen stating suspicion of the accused’s activities. Investigations by the Public Prosecutor’s Office and the investigation teams revealed his crimes in seeking confidential information about the UAE in various sectors.

After confronting him with the evidence against him, he confessed in the investigations to the crimes he committed and the third party he was working with. The Attorney-General issued his decision to refer him to urgent trial.
