Beckham eyes Messi for Inter Miami in 2020

Lionel Messi is an ambitious target for David Beckham and his new franchise Inter Miami for their inaugural season in MLS in 2020.

The Barcelona superstar has a contract at the Nou Camp until 2021, but Beckham is thought to be keen to make a splash to announce Inter’s arrival in the league.

Messi would be 32 at that point and a big-money offer at that stage of his career may appeal, report the Mail.

No contact has been made yet with Messi or his team, though the report claims he would be their ideal candidate as a statement signing.
