The body of a five-year-old girl who had fallen from the 29th floor of a resedential building in Sharjah has been handed over to her family.
The girl’s body was found by people passing by the building, who immediately reported to the police. A police patrol and an ambulance were dispatched to the scene but the girl had died on the spot due to serious injuries. The body was taken to the forensic laboratory, before being handed over to the family after completion of legal procedures and investigations to reach to a conclusion of whether or not the girl’s fall was due to negligence.
Police calls on all public to keep the windows and balconies of their houses closed, especially if children are in the house.
