Dubai: Asian man threatens another with raping his wife after financial disputes

A 32-year-old Asian merchant threatened another man from the same nationality of raping his wife, mother and sister if he does not send the money he asks for.

The Dubai Criminal Court held the first hearing yesterday, where the case papers indicated that the defendant had used sent messages to the victim’s number through “WhatsApp”, in which he threatened that he would rape his wife, his mother and sister if he did not send the money he requested. The criminal evidence report indicated that by translating the text of the messages, they were found to contain more insults and threats.
