On Al Ain Dubai road, Abdulrahman Bashar Rahima, 23, a student at Al Ain University for Science and Technology, noticed an accident on the other side of the road on his way to Dubai, therefore he stopped on the right side of the road, and got off his vehicle to help the people who were stuck in the accident, but he ended up getting injured.
Abdulrahman now lies in the surgery department of Tawam hospital in Al Ain. “His humanity encouraged him to help the people in need of help” said his mother.
Other people who were injured in the incident were taken to Al-Ain hospital and the rest were transferred along with Abdulrahman to Tawam Hospital. Abdulrahman suffered injuries to the hands, feet, face and jaw.
Abdulrahman’s mother pointed out that her son went in a temporary coma, and the first thing he asked about when he woke up was the injured people whom were rescued, expressing his happiness to save people who were stuck in the accident.
His father praised the great efforts made by Tawam Hospital in providing medical and psychological care for his son. He also prays that god maintains the safety, stability and prosperity of the UAE under its wise leadership.
