RAK: Member of royal family passes away, 3-day mourning announced

The Royal Court of His Highness Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah, announced the death of Sheikh Hamad bin Mohammed Al Qasimi today afternoon.

Funeral prayers will be held on July 2 at 8:00 AM at Sheikh Zayed Mosque in Ras Al Khaimah, and he will be buried in the Al Qasimi family cemetery.

Condolence meets will be held at the Khuzam Majlis from 9am to 12pm and from 4pm to 7pm for the next three days.

Female can offer their condolences at the late Sheikh Sultan bin Saqr Al Qasimi in RAK’s Duhaisa area. Flags will be flown at half-mast for three days out of respect for the deceased.
