Abu Dhabi: Woman on trial for burning her maid’s face over neglected children

A mother of three is on trial for pouring hot water on her maid’s face after seeing how neglected her children were,  and how the maid was not doing her work in the house properly. The woman denied pouring hot water nor hitting her made on the face.

The maid, who attended the trial, confirmed that her sponsor was the one who poured hot water on her face The forensic report revealed after examining the case of the victim that she also had burns spread on the upper and lower limbs of her body.

Abu Dhabi Court of Appeal decided to postpone the case to the hearing on June 27.
