Foggy weather engulfs parts of UAE, humidity to increase

Fog covered parts of the UAE on Sunday morning as misty conditions prevailed in several areas. The National Centre of Meteorology shared warning about fog formation over scattered areas, especially over internal areas with poor horizontal visibility of less than 1,000 meters.

Fog formed over Al Maktoum International Airport, Al Ain Airport, Madinat Zayed , Al Minhad, said the centre.

NCM also expects today will be hot in general and partly cloudy, hazy at times.

Humidity levels are expected to rise overnight and early morning over most coastal and internal areas, with a chance of fog/mist formation.

Temperatures are expected to vary between 36°C and 43°C inland, 32°C to 39°C along the coast, and 26°C to 33°C in the mountains.

Sea will be slight to moderate in the Arabian Gulf and Oman sea.
