Gold steady, other precious metals mixed

Gold prices were steady in early Asian trading on Thursday.

Spot gold was little changed at US$4,285.31 an ounce, while US gold futures for December delivery were also steady at $4,321.40.

Among other precious metals, spot silver fell 0.6% to $64.08 an ounce, platinum was unchanged at $1,749.47, while palladium rose 0.2% to $1,261.95.
