Oil prices rise, Brent at US$100.57 per barrel

Oil prices gained in early Asian trading on Tuesday as the market steadied after several days of declines.

Brent crude futures for November rose 22 cents, or 0.22 percent, to US$100.57 a barrel at 00:21 GMT.

US West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude futures for October, which expire on Tuesday, edged up 2 cents, or 0.02 percent, to US$95.80 a barrel.
