5.1-Magnitude Earthquake Strikes Northwest China

A 5.1-magnitude earthquake struck Haixi Prefecture in northwest China’s Qinghai Province on Friday, according to the China Earthquake Networks Centre.

The epicentre was located at 37.84 degrees north latitude and 95.59 degrees east longitude. The earthquake struck at a depth of 10 kilometres, the centre said.
