Set within Simsim Restaurant, the Iftar unfolds in a setting that reflects the calm of the season. Guests are invited to dine indoors or under the open sky, where the gentle Saadiyat breeze carries through the evening. As the sun sets, the sound of a live oud player becomes part of the atmosphere. Guests can explore a variety of stations, including a selection of soups, Japanese sushi bar, seafood on ice, international and oriental classics, and Emirati specialties, each prepared with care and authenticity.
Live carving stations add a sense of theatre, with dishes prepared to order, encouraging a relaxed and interactive dining experience.
Desserts draw from flavours deeply rooted in the region. The ice cream experience features regionally inspired creations such as Jallab, Amar El Deen, Arabic coffee, Man wa Salwa, Ashta, dates, and rose water, alongside a playful Turkish ice cream station.
A homemade Emirati desserts station, developed with Chef Fatima, the resort’s Emirati pastry chef specializing in international and Emirati desserts, highlights traditional recipes prepared in-house, celebrating craftsmanship and heritage.
The live kunafa station adds a sensory flair, with freshly prepared warm servings.
Iftar is available daily throughout the Holy Month of Ramadan from Sunset to 10:00 PM at Simsim Restaurant, Saadiyat Rotana Resort & Villas.
