Sharjah Police rescue 16 people after a cruise boat capsized

Sharjah Police have rescued 16 people after a pleasure cruise boat capsized on one of the Eastern Region’s beaches last Friday, while four people, including a child, were injured, and an Asian (38 years old) died.

Investigations revealed that safety violations led to the boat overturn, and those responsible were referred to the competent authorities.
