Administrative penalties imposed on six operating companies in UAE

The Ministry of Economy has imposed administrative penalties on 6 Designated Non-Financial Businesses and Professions (DNFBPs) companies for violating anti-money laundering and terrorism financing laws.

The companies failed to take the necessary measures to identify the financial crime risks, as 59 violations were detected, amounting to AED 3,200,000.
