The police then asked him to make sure the vehicle was in place, the victim then went to the said place and discovered that the vehicle was not there. When he told them, they asked him to contact the Dubai Police Operations Room and report the incident and then come to the center to complete the proceedings.
A witness in the case, a truck driver, said he met the suspects about a month and a half ago when they asked him to move a vehicle from Dubai to Sharjah. He added that he dealt with them a total of six times (during which six vehicles were transferred, the most recent of which was the vehicle in question), pointing out that he was requesting to provide him with the papers of the vehicles before they were transferred, and they used to hand him customs certificates.
A Dubai Police witness confirmed that the General Directorate of Criminal Investigation has proven the existence of an organization that steals vehicles from different areas and sends them out of the country after changing their data and manipulating customs documents.
He added: “The three defendants, during the investigations of the Public Prosecution, confessed that they distribute roles among them, as one of them brings in stolen vehicles, and the other two manipulate their data and papers, and then sell them abroad and share their profits among them.
