Child dies after falling into well in Al Ain

A three-year-old child has died after falling into a 72-metre well in Al Ain.

Our teams dealt yesterday evening with the accident of a 3-year-old child falling into a well 72 meters below its surface in Al Dhaher area in Al Ain city, which led to his death, Abu Dhabi Civil Defence Authority said.

It called on the public to ensure wells are blocked or covered to prevent such incidents from happening.

The authority also urged people not to publish photos or information about the incident.
